Imany @ Heimathafen Neukölln

In February at the Teddy Awards me a music act was extremely impressed: Imany.

As I wrote at the time:

And since we were in Africa the next Musikact fit perfectly. Imany. Completely unknown to me until now, The singer seduced me with her music and her singing completely. Danach habe ich bestimmt eine Woche lang ihr Album auf Dauerschleife gehört. Ein tolles Album. Ruhig, kraftvoll, berührend, toll. Trotzdem hab ich irgendwie übersehen, dass da doch noch etwas war. Die oben genannte Tour.

Erst heute, als Sheila und Diana posteten, dass sie gerade im Heimathaften Neukölln auf Imany warten bekam ich es mit und als ich dann las, es gäbe sogar noch Karten, machte ich mich schleunigst auf den Weg nach Neukölln. Gerade noch rechtzeitig um Tété, den Voract zu sehen. Ein französischer Singer und Songwriter, der schon mal sehr großen Spaß machte.

Great – wie eben auch danach Imany mit ihrer Band. Das Album von Ihr ist ja eher ruhig und schön, im Konzert ist Imany allerdings viel entertainiger, als es das Album vermuten lässt.

Selbstverständlich ist die Stimme live genauso kräftig und schön,aber viele Lieder haben deutlich mehr Pep als auf der Platte, teilweise geht es richtig ab und bringt das Publikum zum swingen und tanzen. Dazu spielt Imany mit ihrem Publikum, lässt es singen, klatschen, springen und grooven und es fühlt sich zu keinem Zeitpunkt gekünstelt an, wie bei anderen Künstlern. Es fühlt sich gut an. Und es ist gut.

Imany ist toll und es hat sich absolut gelohnt, spontan noch eben nach Neukölln zu fahren.

Signum peristaltic – Berlin

I then found out before Renate.. ie, about one and a half hours after my arrival.. So once again a little further and distribute the time.. QueerRiotClub vs. QueerBurlesqueFest @ Clash

I'm a certain portion Trash inclined towards positive and good music anyway. Thus, a store, which “The Clash” and calls on the walls of posters and flyers of bands louder and faster music hang won anyway.

If there then held another event, die sich vs QueerRiotClub. QueerBurlesqueFest nennt, so this is an urgent reason, to see the Clash times closer.
