La Fête Fatale - The Burlesque Underwarter Travel
or “Der Hummer war der Hammer”

Gerne denke ich noch an meine letzte La Fête Fatale zurück. Griechen im Bassy mit netter Begleitung im May vor einem Jahr. So lange ist das bereits her. Na sieh mal einer an.

Die Fête Fatale ist (selbstverständlich hinter der Halloween Masquesrade wohl die Party mit dem besten und kreativsten Publikum der Stadt. Viele kreative Menschen, die sich zwei Mal im Jahr viel Mühe geben, ein noch besseres Kostüm auszuführen als der jeweilige Nebenmann / die jeweilige Nebenfrau.

Dieses Mal war das Motto: The Burlesque Underwarter Travel. Daher wimmelte es im Bassy dieses mal von Fischen, Meerjungfrauen, Tauchern, Meerjungfrauen, Wassermännern und Hummern…

Hummern? Wird sich jetzt manch einer fragen? Jepp. Diese komischen Schalentierchen, die nen Sonnenbrand bekommen, wenn sie eine Weile in siedendem Wasser gebadet haben… Als solcher ist an diesem Abend nämlich Hedoluxe erschienen als Crab-King. Eindeutig DAS Kostüm des Abends an nicht wenigen Kostümen des Abends.

Aber die Fête Fatale besticht eben nicht nur durch ihr Publikum, bei dem ein besseres zu finden schwer ist, es besticht auch durch durch die Performer, an diesem Abend beispielsweise Mama Ulita, GO-GO Harder, Janet Fischietto, Minnie Tonka oder Natasha’s Nautical Naughties mit oben genannten Hedoluxe.

Dazu ist jede La Fête Fatale soetwas wie ein Familien und Klassentreffen gleichzeitig. Eigentlich sind alle da, die man in Berlin das ganze Jahr über auf diversesten Parties antrifft. Toll, solche Familientreffen, auch wenn man dieses Mal echt etwas brauchte, um alle zu erkennen…

Auf jeden Fall fuhr ich erst halb 5 nach Hause. Es muss wohl also eine gute Party gewesen sein

Myfest 2013

Das Myfest ist und bleibt für mich das beste Strassenfest weltweit – mindestens! Ich weiss, dass manche das anders sehen und für jene das Myfest ein „Scheiss Polizeifest“ ist. Okay, dann eben das weltweit beste Polizeifest. Bin ich auch mit zufrieden.

Auch wenn ich merke, wie sich Kreuzberg langsam aber sicher verändert, so hält sich gefühlt das Thema Gentrifizierung hier immer noch in Grenzen. Die Oranienstrasse lebt noch, wenn ich auf den Oranienplatz schaue, schaue ich auf Refugee Camp, etwas, was in anderen Stadtteilen kaum bis un-denkbar wäre und ich fühle mich generell noch wohl.

Ich finde es auch okay, wenn am 1.Mai kein Polizeiausnahmezustand ist, und keine Autos brennen. Statt in die Fresse gib es auf die Ohren und zwar so richtig. Punk, Indie, Reggae und Dancehall, Hip Hop, Weltmusik, Electro und noch mancheines mehr mit x (= große Zahl) an Bühnen machen das Myfest einfach zu einem Genuss.

Dabei ist es eben auch kein kommerzialisiertes Fest, keine Becks Bühne, kein West Power Tower, kein Carlsberg Bierstand oder Bacardi Cocktailstand. Anwohner und anwohnende Gewerbetreibende sorgen für die Nahrung und Bars, Kneipen etc. für die Getränke und Beschallung. Und die ist so, dass die Oranienstrasse sowie alle Nebenstrassen bis Mitternacht pickepackevoll sind und keine Autos brennen müssen…

Ich liebe das Myfest für eine Girls-Punkband wie das Divakollektiv oder den einfach grandiosen Beatboxer am U-bahnhof Skalitzer Strasse. Für mich könnte jeden Tag Myfest sein…Obwohl, dann würde ich mich nicht mehr drauf freuen… Belassen wir es also einmal im Jahr und hoffen wir, dass der Bezirk nicht irgendwann die Mittel streicht, weil Kreuzberg zu ruhig geworden ist.

QueerRiotClub vs. QueerBurlesqueFest @ Clash

I'm a certain portion Trash inclined towards positive and good music anyway. Thus, a store, which “The Clash” and calls on the walls of posters and flyers of bands louder and faster music hang won anyway.

If there then held another event, die sich vs QueerRiotClub. QueerBurlesqueFest nennt, so this is an urgent reason, to see the Clash times closer.

As well as the number of Hedoluxe and Sheila from the Wizard of Oz, with the heartless Tin Man and Dorothy. Alone the costume of Hedoluxe is so great, that would justify a separate defined contribution. But look for yourself. Divine, or?

Divine was also found us – So, strictly speaking, Janka and me… A painter told us in to see a worthwhile image, just because we rumsassen and passed the time waiting with. You definitely needed a picture of us, but managed somehow not really any other way, and was also fairly by the wind.

But she had a “Manager” there, which took in hand… came of it then but somehow nothing, no picture, painted by us, But somehow that was not to be expected.

Did not matter, for the evening and the numbers were still very nice and it was worth it, to visit the Clash.
